Kitten & Puppy

Congratulations!

...on finding your new best friend!
Wildflower knows that starting off on the right foot - healthy and with a long term plan, will set you up for a happy life together.  That's why we work so hard to make sure we address all your families needs, develop a wellness plan together, and discuss questions or concerns that you may have when your new one comes home.

Below you will find the current AAHA recommendations for puppies and kittens.  Once Wildflower is able to come visit, and a comprehensive exam is done to determine what your pet actually needs, we can make our personalized wellness plan.  That takes the guess work out - and allows us to decrease your stress - we even get the reminders to you when it's time!

Kittens!

Kittens are the cutest, aren't they?

We want that cutie to grow up and be your companion for years to come.  Taking care of their health needs early, and consistently, will decrease the risk of disease.

When Wildflower comes to see you, we will assess and talk through the following areas:
  • Core & Non-core vaccines (dependent on your lifestyle)
  • Intestinal Parasite Screening and Deworming
  • Bloodwork & Diagnostic Screens (in preparation for spay or neuter)
  • Monthly Flea & Heartworm Prevention
  • Environmental Enrichment & Behavioral Consult

Kittens will need to see a doctor 2-3 times for vaccines and wellness exams to assess development and health between the ages of 6 weeks and 16 weeks.  We have specially designed "Kitten Packages" to help you get everything they need!

Puppies!

There truly isn't anything better than puppy breath and fat bellies, is there?

Puppies are at risk early on from diseases that are easily spread because they are so social,  and they tend to travel with their families.  We can prevent a vast majority of puppyhood disease with vaccines and wellness care.
